The colour is soft apricot. paling to cream on the outer petals, the whole flower paling to cream whith age. The blooms are produced very freely in large clusters, elegantly poised on the end of slightly arching stems. They have a delightful Tea Rose fragrance. Named for 'The Crocus Trust'. The flowers are large and deeply cupped, the contrsting colours berween the two sides of the petals giving a most attractive effect. The growth is strong and of a similar type to 'Golden Celebration' and 'Abraham Darby'. Strongly tea-scented with a warm, sensuous background. A particularly good rose for arrangements in the house. They have a light myrrh fragrance. Named to commemorate the 350th anniversary of the treaty of friendship and commerce between Creat Britain and Sweden. They are a deeply cupped shape in the early stages, the petals turning back later ti give a less formal but still most attractive flowers. It will make a superb and striking sight as a climber. Good Old Rose fragrance. David Austin "Handbook of roses 2008/09" 'The Alnwick Rose' (синоним 'Alnwick Castle'), David Austin, 2001 Гибридизация: ? х 'Golden Celebration' Pretty rich pink, cup shaped buds gradually open to deeply cupped flower; later developing into a broad, full-petalled, shallow cup of a soft pink which is paler at the outer edges - a most pleasing progression. The flowers are beautiful at all stages. Good, bushy, slightly upright growth flowering from early summer to the onset of frost. There is a good Old Rose fragrance with just a hint of raspberry. Named after the superb Alnwick Garden in Northhumberland which includes a very large rose garden with many English Roses.
